JOSE MOURINHO has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association for his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials at half time in the defeat to West Ham on Saturday.

The Chelsea boss was sent off by referee Jonathan Moss at half-time after he reportedly confronted the official following the red card to Nemanja Matic.

Mourinho is already appealing a £50,000 fine and suspended one-match stadium ban, handed to him by the FA after comments about a referee earlier this month.

Assistant first team coach, Silvino Louro, was sent to the stands for protesting Matic's dismissal and he has also been charged with misconduct in relation to his behaviour.

And the commotion around the Matic sending off has led to West Ham and Chelsea both being charged with failing to control their players.

All parties have until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charges.

This is the seventh occasion that Mourinho has been investigated by the FA since returning to the Premier League in 2013.

So far, he has been fined £101,000.
